The start of Fall

These pictures are  from the first snow fall this year!  It happened the first weekend this month and let me just say this little guy could not wait to go outside and play.  Jace was so excited the first thing he did was grab his coat, boots, and gloves and ran to the garage screaming hurry mom I want to go play.  I was trying to get my camera and capture this fun moment and when I walk outside I see my little guy just rolling around in the snow and screaming weeee.  It was like he had never seen snow before.  We had fun playing while little sister was asleep.  We stomped around, threw snowballs, and for some reason Jace kept eating the snow.  I know eating snow is no big deal when it is white but later that day we were in the parking lot and Jace picked up so dirty snow and put it in his mouth and said delicious.  Lets just say we had the we don't eat yellow snow talk.

This past weekend we went to Rock Springs and hung out with cousins and decided to take everyone bowling.  This was a first for Jace and he loved every minute of it.   Since August we have been traveling back and forth from Cheyenne to Utah to see Dan.  Dan took a new Job in Spanish Fork which will bring us closer to family.  As for now we are waiting for our house to sell we have had one offer but they don't want to close until January.  Boo I know but our prayers are being answered so no complaints here. These past few months I have really come to appreciate the blessings of having a companion.  I have been a single parent for a while now and have been at times overwhelmed by the task of being mom on top of everything else.  I have learned however that I can do things such as keep up a yard, blow out sprinklers, work and travel 8 hours with two kids!!  The Lord is mindful of us and we are  living proof.

Addison 9 Months old!!!

First I have to post our 8 month photo with a few of things that has happened in month 8.   Addie sprung her first tooth on the lower tooth O to be exact.  Her neck is getting much stronger and she is tolerating being on her belly more and more.   She started waving or should I say flopping her hand and saying hi  or HIIIIIIII.

                                                                           9 Months Old
I can't even begin to tell you how weird it is that Addie is 3 months away from being 1.  Time has just flown by.  When it has come to some of the motor skills Addie has taken her time. For this I am grateful and can honestly say the Lord has been mindful of me and has given me what he knows I can handle.  Just in the last few weeks Addie has been rolling over and moving around while on her tummy.  I am sure in just a few short weeks we will have a crawler on our hands!!  Tooth P is coming through so now we have 2 teeth.  It still looks like one because tooth O is more in the P so at times she looks like a little hillbilly!!  Addie has also discovered her tongue and likes to stick it out and make noises with it.  When she is eating to likes to blow "bubbles" with food in her mouth and laugh.  I think she totally knows that she is spraying mom with food and finds it funny.  She also likes to bounce around for instance when she is in her high chair it seems that I am always trying to feed a moving target and sometimes her eye is mistaken for her mouth.  I still can carry her in the Bjorn and she loves facing out.  If you see us out in public she is the kid that kicks her feet none stop (did I mention it is hard to walk when someone strapped to you is kicking you forward all the time) and tries to get as much eye contact from strangers that she can get.  Addie also learned to drink from a straw just this week.  I admit I have an addiction to Starbucks double chocolaty chip frappe but hey it has been uses as a teaching tool and Addie mastered the straw so it's a good addiction right?  This is one happy, snugly, loving little girl.  Happy 9 months to my sweet baby.

Addison 7 Months Old

I can't believe this little girl is 7 months. Addie has such a sweet demeanor.  I know I said this last time but her smile melts my heart.  Addie is loving food.  She is starting to pick up little puffs and put them in her mouth.  She likes to drink from a sippy cup but tends to chew on it instead of suck.  Addie is such a big girl now sitting up on her own.  She seems to like this new view of the world.  I think the dog likes it more because know they are on the same level and he likes to lick her face!! Addie is not so sure about the licking part but she keeps her eye on the dog for sure.  Addie is our social butterfly and loves to hear the sound of her voice.  My favorite time is riding in the car with her and Jace and listening to her talk to him.  She practically leans up in her car seat just so she can get a good look at him while she is talking.  Addie loves Jace and likes when he blows on her belly.  Jace can be found with her in her crib blowing on her tummy.  Addie likes her crib and finds it funny when we hide and play peak a boo with her.  Addie loves music and likes when we sing to her.  I think her favorite is when Jace sings "You are my sunshine" It is so cute!! Addie has no teeth but is chewing on everything.  There is yet to be any rolling over and tummy time is not her favorite.  She really is content laying back and watching the world around her.  Her neck is getting stronger and I have noticed at times she holds it nice and straight so progress makes me happy.  All is well with this little girl.  Love love love this kid.

I love having the title of mother

I am so honored  and blessed to call myself a mother.  Just taking a moment to reflect on all the blessings that have come from these 2 sweet angles.....

Addison is 6 Months old

My sweet little Addie turned six months old and my how fast time goes.  I feel like she should only be 2 months old and my brain can't wrap around the fact that she is eating real food.  Addison has a little Torticollis as you can see in this picture.  Torticollis is tight muscles of the neck.  The doctor said it was because she was in a small space and stayed in the same position for my entire pregnancy.  We are going to have her evaluated by a stride but the doctor stated it was not a big deal and with a little therapy those muscles will relax.  Addison is saying "ma ma" and has the biggest sweetest smile ever.  One look at her smile and my whole world is just bliss.  The Lord definitely knew I needed a sweet angel.  I must say both Addie and Jace make my life blissful.  Addison will roll to her side and roll from her tummy to her back but if she is on her tummy she tends to scream and yell. Addie also sits with some support and likes the view she gets while sitting.  Addison tends to cry when I leave her.  She is also a snuggler and oh my how I love her nuzzles.  When Addie is excited she lets out a light scream and if you are holding her she jumps up and down.  As of yet she has no teeth but she is drooling like none other.  Food is fun for this little girl.  She is more interested in the food I am eating then the food that comes in the jars. Addie likes avocado, banana , noodles, tortilla, and cucumber just to list a few of her favorites.  I love this little girl she is such a joy.

Jace 3 year pictures.

Here are a few pictures of Jace for his 3 year pictures.  I love this little man he is so handsome and has such a fun loving personality.

Addison is 5 months old.

Addison is 5 months old as of the 20th of May!! She is reaching some fun milestones such as rolling over on her side.  She has not quit mastered rolling all the way over onto her tummy but she is definitely moving towards that first big roll.  She had her first big belly laugh on May 24th which was a result of Jace jumping on the couch and me holding her doing the jumping motion.  This little girl is full of smiles.  She smiles at everyone and let me just say it is not just a smirk but yet a full face from the bottom of her heart smile that will melt your heart.  We started some rice cereal and bananas.  Addie loves food when you take the spoon away she grunts and opens her mouth.  If that does not do the trick to get more food she then starts kicking her legs!! Did I mention she loves to move those legs and arms.  Anytime I am holding her face out (so she can see the world) those legs and arms are moving super fast like she is just ready to take on the world.  This girl loves to snuggle and enjoys grabbing at anything she can get her hands on.  Love being blessed with this precious little girl.
