Christmas, what a wonderful time of the year!! This has been the first year that Dan and I have spent Christmas with just our little family and what fun it was. On Christmas Eve we went for a little drive to look at all the wonderful lights and of course we took a pic of ours. This was actually the first year that we have ever decorated the outside of our house. It was fun(for Dan) getting on the roof and putting the strings of lights up. This year we only did the front and we had a little tree in the front with a star!! I use enthusiasim here because Jace loves to see and say star. On Christmas morning I got up at 6:30 to make homemade cinnomon rolls
from scratch we then waited for Jace to wake up which was around 7:30. Now I must tell you that he was not a happy camper when he woke. I thought that since I had a long break off from work I would try to rid him of his bottle and pacifier. Well what do you know Jace woke up screaming for a bottle or ba ba, bink, and blanket which he calls it his gink. Ah the joys of comforts we felt bad so first we set him on the couch turned on some mickey mouse(which is his favorite) and let him have all three!! After that he seemed to do a little better, I think there was just way to much going on we had music going, I was trying to get pictures, paper was being torn, and of course the dog was trying to eat everything! Then our friends came over to wish us a Merry Christmas and while they were here a special vistor arrived!! Who would of thought that Santa would come to the Dunns house. Boy Jace must have really been good this year because I know he would not have come if it was just Dan and I. Jace loved santa he brought him some fun gifts to be exact he brought a ball, a book with mickey mouse of course, and some play dough. Santa really knows Jace so for those of you reading this he does really see us throughout the year!!! After all the excitment of new toys and of course Santa we put Jace to bed for a much needed nap. Now just so everyone is clear we have had little to no snow the weather on Christmas day was almost fifty with little wind so Dan and I took turns running outside in our shorts and light sweaters!!! We then spent the afternoon playing outside at the park and playing with all our new toys!! We are so abundantly blessed, we are truly gratful for this time of year and the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for Mary and Joseph and there willingness to accept our fathers plan. I hope that everyone who reads this has had a wonderful Christmas.
Love,
Love,
Dan, Cassie, and Jace
