Jace's First Birthday!!!!

Ahh what a day, all I can say is this has been the fastest year of my life. I never thought about nor totally understood the love a mother has for her children until I myself became one. As I look back on this past year there has been many journeys I never dreamed I would take. Jace has taught me so much about myself in this one year than I have learned in my 26 years of life. All I can say is the Lord obviously knows me and knew this perfect child would send me all the guidance I have been waiting for.
Jace came to this world being a sweet baby who hardly cried now at the end of this first year I feel I can say he is the same except for he now has an opinion which is super great!!! So Jace here is to you and the wonderful little man you are. I want you to know how much your dad and I love you, my life has been so much better with you in it and I feel really bad that I waited so long to experience your sweet spirit. I hope that as your parents you will look to us as examples, that you will love who you are and know that we are here for you no matter what!! During this next year you will begin to understand your world around you it will be a little scary at times being that you will take your first steps and try some new foods but as you figure it out you will love what your body will allow you to see and do. I only hope for you to find love for the gospel, be happy, find true love, and live happily ever after.

Here are a few pictures from the party. Jace loved his cake and he actually ate a lot of it!!! He also loved all is presents and since this was my first kids birthday party I was so amused at all the kids trying to open all Jaces presents!!!! I hope you all enjoy and squeeze your little ones tight tonight and count your many blessings because I really think and truly know that without them life would be very boring.

Little Boy Ties

So here is the only picture I got today of Jace in his super cute tie!! Thanks to my friend Kasey and her encouragement that we could so be crafty and make these. It only took 2 months off and on for us to master the sewing machine while watching our children. There were many times I wanted to give up due to my non existent sewing skills. This was my first big project alone without someone there to hold my hand and guide me although Kasey was sure there when I had no clue!!! Thanks for the fun Kasey you are super great and should give yourself more credit=) You are so a crafty person!!! As for Jace he loved it!! I am so glad for Sundays because I love dressing my boy up. He looked so cute and handsome.

Christmas Fun

Sorry these are late everyone. So Christmas was wonderful we went to Lyman to be around family for our first christmas with Jace. He loved it althought I don't think he really cared about the toys he had more fun with the paper and bows!!!

Christmas Fun!!!

So I just love this time of year, in fact I wish it could be Christmas all year!! I just love the music, color, smell, weather, and pure joy I get during this time of year. This year for me is even more fun because now I get to share my love for this season with baby Jace and let me tell you he loves all the lights and wrapping paper!! I can't say he enjoys our trips to the store because lately he just wants to be out and about and not tied up in the car seat(can't blame him for that.) So just for fun I found a huge bow and thought this would be the perfect gift for all our friends a family!! He had fun letting me take pictures of him he even left the bow on his head =) The picture of Jace with Santa was at our ward Christmas party he did not cry at all but then again his eyes were rolling in the back of his head because he was so tired but you know how it goes first Christmas you have to get pictures with Santa.

Another Update From The Past!!

So as you can all see this are from a few months ago but I wanted to share some of the fun that we have been having!! Jace is growing so fast and everyday I am reminded of that!! He is such a joy and I am truly blessed to be his mother. Hope you like the pics!!!

Update

Okay so I know that I have not been the best at this because as you can see it has been over a year since I have been on here and a lot has changed in our world. To start we had our first child in April on the 24th to be exact at 3:29 am his name is Jace Daniel and he is the light of our life. We are so amazed at this little guy and sometimes ask ourselves why we waited so long....pregnancy was easy I was really lucky no sickness and I actually went into labor all by myself a week early and only was in labor for 5 hours. This past year we have been truly blessed. Dan has a great job that he loves he is running a physical therapy clinic and I was fortunate enough to find a dentist who is the most caring, considerate person I have ever met!! As the year comes to an end we both feel we have been blessed beyond measure. We are looking forward to the future and are excited for the journey ahead.
